Gratitude for First Television Interview 27

Delightfully Different Book CoveI awoke shortly after three AM to get ready for my first television interview at one of our local news stations.  I was nervous and afterward I thought of other things I should have said including mentioning what a broad spectrum autism truly is, yet despite this and having a bad hair day today of all days, I survived.  I do ask that you keep in mind that I only had two and a half minutes to talk and believe me when I say it went by fast.  You can view it here.

  1. Hi Sue – I’m Soooo thrilled for you!! That’s fantastic news.

I seem to have overlooked the recording…I’ve searched to page 10 of the video links on Hawaii News but cannot seem to find it. What is the title of the interview as I’d love to see it 😀

    Chloe xx

    • Chloe,
Thank you! I just checked to see if my link is still working and it is, but you have to let the commercial for search now run to the end first. If you go to the Hawaii News Now sight you can search for it by typing Delightfully Different.

      • Sue – apologies, but I still cannot watch it, obviously it’s something to do with my computer/connection as your other friends are not having the same problem. I’m sure you were wonderful though! Chloe xx 😀

  2. You looked so confident and you didn’t falter once! Honestly, you looked like it was your hundredth interview, not your first.

    • BB’s Mum,
Thank you! I wasn’t as nervous as I was when I did the radio show, but I’m still not completely comfortable either.

  3. You did great Sue and I think you got your point across beautifully.
What was wonderful for me was to actually see you and hear you.
Your a real person to me now, and what a wonderfully lovely person you are.
I suppose I’d better go to bed now, it’s 1:45am here….ugh, I’m so NOT tired.
    Love and hugs.
    Lisa. xx 🙂

    • Rachel,
Thank you! You and I have been communicating so much lately until it feels like I’ve known you forever. It’s nice that the local news is on the internet so the people who really understand how much this means to me can watch.

  4. That interview was LOVELY! I think more people will be buying your book because of the interview.
Now go to the mirror and say.
I did fantastic for my first interview and I can improve each time I’m on camera. Good Job!
