Today I will be telling my dear friend good-bye for the last time as I release him to the angels per his request, so forgive me if I’m not feeling this week’s photo challenge. Still, I do have a few older photos that fit the challenge and I know life must go on and that is what my corgi wishes for his family.
Cheri Lucas Rowlands asked us to share one shot, two ways for this week’s photo challenge, and I strongly suggest you go to her posts to see links to all of the wonderful posts others are sharing.
Yes, I know my post is actually five shots, two ways. Jeff Sinon inspired me to capture photos after it rained here this morning. I’m grateful for the inspiration, for the gentle rain, and for my garden. What are you grateful for this week?
Little did I know that the flowers I planted were not all yellow or destined to be the promised sixteen to twenty-four inch height. Although the above picture should have been a clue since I took it a mere two weeks after I planted them. The picture foreshadowed this:
But, I am not complaining especially after seeing how pretty the Chocolate Sunflowers are when the sun’s rays hit them.
I’m grateful to whomever accidentally put two Chocolate Sunflower seeds in the Elves Blend seed packet and to Krista Stevens for providing this week’s photo challenge and giving me the perfect opportunity to share my sunflowers with you. So what has foreshadowed an event in your life lately?
My photos this week are not masterpieces by any means. I took these photos before I started doing the WP photo challenge and before Photography 101 helped me to take better photos, but I do believe they meet this week’s challenge.
This week’s WordPress weekly photo challenge is to share a photo that means masterpiece. For more information and to find others’ posts click on the link.
