I am doing my gratitude post because I do have things that I am grateful about even when things are not easy at the moment.
I am so proud of my son. He brainstormed and decided that he would help promote my book on his personal Facebook page. Not bad for a kid who is in middle school! Here is what he posted:
“Autism awareness is something dear to my heart, to find out more go to www.authordswalker.com copy and paste this as u’r status if u like it.”
I am grateful that this giveaway along with my book, Delightfully Different is part of Danette’s Best of Best Series, Edition 5. I am grateful to Amanda at Rage Against the Washing Machine and to Trish at In So Many Words for reviewing and running giveaways of my novel. I grateful to Kajoli at Floortime Lite Mama for reviewing my novel and interviewing me about it.
This month’s series is a giveaway bonanza in honor of Autism Awareness month in the United States and all invisible special needs. The series includes fifty reviews so it is definitely worth a look. Just click on the banner or the link in the previous paragraph.
I ask for your continued support of my family with your positive thoughts and prayers. I promise to actually try to read and comment on some of your blogs this weekend as I have been so consumed with a personal issue that I am very behind in doing this. I want all of you to know I am so grateful to you.
I also would like to request that you pray for Jen at The King and Eye and her little boy who is undergoing more medical procedures to determine his diagnosis. Her last news was not good.
Blessings to all of you for your understanding and support!
Mahalo,
Sue
Hi Sue – thinking of you at this time and I hope you find resolution soon with the issue that you are facing. I am sure you will!
Blessings to you xx
Chloe,
I think we are finding resolutions that will make life much better although the process has been time consuming, emotionally draining and generally not been fun at all.
Chloe,
Thank you and blessing to you too!
I am so sorry that things are so rough right now. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. There are people out there some you know others that you do not . They are holding you…don’t forget they are holding you. Thinking of you…Cheairs
Cheairs,
God knows I still need the support although I am hoping things will get better soon. It is beginning to look like it is time to close old chapters and open new ones for all involved. However, we need to finish this school year somehow first. All prayers and positive thoughts are still very much appreciated.
You are welcome, and thanks for the link-up!
Charlotte,
Thank you again!
What a cool kid you have – that’s so great that he is helping to promote the book! It’s so great to get the word out about aspects of autism that aren’t top of mind for most people, e.g. girls with ASD and bullying issues.
Sorry to hear that you are having a rough time right now. You will definitely be in my prayers.
Thank you! Yes, I am very proud of him. He has grown so much because of seeing everything his sister went through. Thank you for keeping Jen and HRH in your prayers as well as us.
Hi Sue,
I am sorry to hear about your struggle with an ongoing issues. I hope things turn out as you’d like them to. I also honor your poise and gratitude in the midst of things difficult.
I will keep your friends in mind during their days of hardship as well.
Suzanne
Suzanne,
Thank you! I am still hoping for a good outcome, but it is difficult right now. Thank you for keeping Jen and her family in you thoughts too.
As always, we are privileged to have you as as participating blogger in the Best of the Best. Thank you for all your hard work and I will keep you and your family in my prayers. You have taken on an incredibly difficult challenge — bullying — but you will make a difference! The world needs more people who will speak up and take a stand!
Danette,
Thank you and thanks for helping me promote the book and the message!
Sue I was honored to have the opportunity to review your book. As always, I am thinking of you and yours.
((hugs))
Amanda
Amanda,
Thank you! I think about you and your family too! The world really needs to change. Bullying should never be okay and people should understand it has long term effects especially on our most vulnerable children.
Aw Sue, give your son a big squeeze and hug from Arkansas! It’s obvious you are an awesome mom!
Praying everything will soon be okay in your neck of the woods….
🙂 Lisa
Lisa,
I did and Thank you!
Great post, Sue! That’s awesome about your son and the book.
I’d like to echo your request for prayers for Jen and HRH. Pray for relief, and support.
Thanks again Laura. Yes, I have been sending prayers for Jen and son for weeks. Her post this week especially concerned me. I hope everyone continues to pray for them. Jen certainly deserves our support.
